Aluta Continua, Swahili for "the struggle continues" is a factual chronology of the African American presence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  It spans the first two hundred years of the university's existence and highlights outstanding African Americans who have contributed to the history and overall culture of the college.  From 19th Century poet George Moses Horton to the first four graduate students who crossed the segregation lines, Aluta Continua  provides a mere introduction to the rich and momentous impact African Americans had and still have at UNC.

Take Me Back is a fictionalized one woman show which deals with the experiences of Grandma Jennie Lee, an older woman who grew up during segregation.  Grandma Jennie Lee not only shares her first hand knowledge, but tells stories told to her from her parents and other relatives.  This "tell it like it is" senior citizen provides a funny, yet realistic view into the lives of African Americans during the Jim Crow Era and beyond.
